textual works is free. There is no cost to you, other than the time and effort it takes to send your "child" to
us. All submitted works will be reviewed by the webmaster and, if chosen, will be featured on The Literarian, typically
under the category of that genre. For works that bend traditional genre lines, we may place the submission under
the "experimental" section, as we see fit. All submissions will be read, and you will be notified
whether your work is placed on our site or not. Expect up to a four week delay on hearing
from us, depending on the number of submissions at any given time and the webmaster's time available to read and screen.
how do we screen a text? Basically, if the piece either shows potential or is deemed good writing, we will approve
it for publishing on the site. There is no real limit to the length or brevity of submissions, and work may be submitted
anonymously, under a pseudonym, or under one's real name. No topic is off limits, but The Literarian is not exactly
a personal blog, either, so please reconsider before submitting grossly inflammatory works that are designed primarily
to denigrate or debase a particular class or category of people. For example, one can expound on a theme of violence
or prejudism, it should just be in a context that does not advocate the wholesale X-cide of any race, religion, culture,
gender, sexual orientation, political belief, and more.
